Agreement for Web-based education through Internet
THIS AGREEMENT is entered into on this day of year by and between Tamil Virtual Academy represented by its Chairman, functioning at Anna University Campus, Gandhi Mandapam Road, Kottur, Chennai - 600 025, India hereinafter called the party of the first part, and............................................................................................................. ...........,represented by ........................................................................................................................... hereinafter called the Franchisee/Agent and
Whereas, Tamil Virtual Academy is offering web-based education in Tamil through Internet and had decided to appoint local agencies such as contact centers to provide necessary counselling and guidance to the local students as decided by Tamil Virtual Academy and
Whereas,..............................................................................................................the agent/franchisee has approached Tamil Virtual Academy for making him/her as franchisee and to act as an agent for and on behalf of Tamil Virtual Academy and to aid local students in the web based education and Whereas, the Tamil Virtual Academy has decided to appoint the above named person/ organization as one of the franchisees for the local Center at................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ (Name of the place/Country) on the following terms and conditions to be observed by the franchisee or agent.
The Franchisee will provide the following facilities.
(i) A Computer of reasonable specifications with Internet facility.
(ii) A coordinator to manage the activities of TVA, including enrollment of students and Library members, management of TVA study materials and providing necessary counseling on the TVA Programmes.
(iii) The study center will be the designated examination center for the students to give their examinations through internet on the various courses enrolled by them, after proper identification.
(iv) The Study Center will distribute the mark sheets and certificates to the qualified students.
(v) The Study Center will submit reports periodically in respect of the number of students enrolled through this center for the different programmes offered by TVA
For the above such services, the Franchisee will be provided with sixty percent of the examination fee that would be collected from the students through web/direct payment. The Franchisee or agent shall take up promotional activities through Newspaper/ Radio/TV/other modes of advertisements on the TVA Programme. The Franchisee or agent shall be very sincere and shall strive their level best to promote the ideologies of the Principal TVA. The Franchisee shall not make any mal advertisement about TVA and incase such matters come to the knowledge of TVA, this agreement will get cancelled and TVA will have the rights to sue the Franchisee and shall eligible to claim damages. The jurisdiction shall be the Courts in India. In respect of the terms and conditions not written above, the same will be discussed on mutual consent. IN WITNESS whereof the parties hereunto put their hands on this day, month, year mentioned above.
