Agreement for Web-based education through Internet

THIS AGREEMENT is entered into on                         this day of                year by and between Tamil Virtual University represented by its Chairman, functioning at 4th Floor, Elnet Software City, CPT Road, Taramani, Chennai – 600 113, India hereinafter called the party of the first part, and

Whereas, Tamil Virtual University is offering web-based education in Tamil through Internet and had decided to appoint local agencies such as contact centers to provide necessary counselling and guidance to the local students as decided by Tamil Virtual University and

Whereas,..............................................................................................................................the agent/franchisee has approached Tamil Virtual University for making him/her as franchisee and to act as an agent for and on behalf of Tamil Virtual University and to aid local students in the web based education and

Whereas, the Tamil Virtual University has decided to appoint the above named person/ organization as one of the franchisees for the local Center at........................................................................................ .............................................................................................................................................. .............................................................................................................................................. .............................................................................................................................................. (Name of the place/Country) on the following terms and conditions to be observed by the franchisee or agent.

The Franchisee will provide the following facilities.

For the above such services, the Franchisee will be provided with sixty percent of the examination fee that would be collected from the students through web/direct payment.

The Franchisee or agent shall take up promotional activities through Newspaper/ Radio/TV/other modes of advertisements on the TVU Programme.

The Franchisee or agent shall be very sincere and shall strive their level best to promote the ideologies of the Principal TVU. The Franchisee shall not make any mal advertisement about TVU and incase such matters come to the knowledge of TVU, this agreement will get cancelled and TVU will have the rights to sue the Franchisee and shall eligible to claim damages.

The jurisdiction shall be the Courts in India.

In respect of the terms and conditions not written above, the same will be discussed on mutual consent.
