They have been appreciated for their stunning synchronisation, sparking rhythm and graceful gestures with a sense of cohesiveness which unifies these various elements whenever on stage.
The sisters have been performing on stage since 1991 after their formal arangetram. They have given a number of performances in various cities all over India and abroad. They are well known for conducting lecture demaonstrations and workshops for different organisations comprising audience world-wide.
Lavanya has been trained in the martial art of Kerala, "Kalaripayattu" and Mrinalini has the expertise in "Yoga" and they combine the concepts of these art forms haemoniously in their presentations.
Professionally they are practicing Architechs and Designer. Lavanya is into designing and executing residence, commercial buildings, interiors and landscaping projects and Mrinalini is into textile and graphic designing and is also well versed in German language.
