Fabricious was imprisoned after Nallappa Mudali filed a case against him.¹⁴ Rev. Schwartz had also given him large sums of money. After almost 50 years in India, Fabricious died at Madras on 24th January, 1791. (He was unmarried).

Fabricious and Schwartz had collaborated to translate a hymn.¹⁵

Fabricious while serving his term of imprisonment compiled the “Malabar - English Dictionary.”¹⁶

On 23-8-1788, he resigned from the charge of the printing press at Vepery.

Fabricious will always be remembered for his “Malabar-English Dictionary” and for his Cattiyavēta Pustakam, a Tamil translation of the Old Testament, and for his Tamil translation of the New Testament which was translated from Greek. The latter work was printed as a stereotyped edition in 1883.

10. REV. HARALD PRYKHOLM

Harald Prykholm was born at Njurunnda in Sweden on 27th January, 1879 and he studied at Uppsala and Cambridge. He was ordained at Hernosand in Sweden on 28th January, 1900 and arrived in India on 12th October, 1902.

11. REV. KARL GRAUL

Karl Graul was born at Muegeln in Saxony on 1st January, 1838 and studied at Leipzig. He was ordained in 1870 and arrived in India on the 19th of November, 1870 and died at Tranquebar on the 15th of July, 1879.
