Thirukkural
is broadly classified under three heads - the first is devoted to
the well-being of an individual, and the second to the well-being
of the community, and the third to the enjoyment of the bliss of
private life.
The
second division, devoted to the well-being of the community, talks
elaborately about its governance. It talks about the needs and the
desirable attributes of the different personnel contributing to
the governance of the community.
In
this lesson, we present Valluvar's views on how a good nation ought
to be and what kind of wealths it should be blessed with.
