If the eyes are for learning, the ears too are for learning. One should use the ears to listen to the words of wisdom and knowledge. The ears that have not been pierced by the words of the learned are as good as deaf ears. If you are unlettered, the whole world is not yet lost, as you still have your ears as a source of learning. So, listen to the learned; their words will be a help to you in distress.
