supara, n. a beautiful leaf (fr. su, ‘good’ and para, a leaf’), R.; having beautiful leaves, L.; having beautiful wings, RV.; m. any large bird or prey (as a vulture, eagle); also applicable to the sun or moon as ‘having beautiful rays’, and to Soma and clouds.

     The Intermediate demonstrative ‘u’ or ‘’, not only points to the person, place or thing in front of or opposite to the speaker, but also expresses the idea of height or altitude.
