Bharathi declares that the Tamil language and its poets, have no equals in the world. Yet, it is a pity that his contemporary Tamils preferred to master other languages ignoring their mother tongue! If Tamils are to flourish, Tamil should be spread across the world. Works of perennial value should be written in Tamil and works of standing reputation from other languages should be made available in Tamil. This section represents the above views of Bharathi concerning the Tamil language.
