      am, ƒm, etc.
     e.g. pu˜iyambalam, tamarind fruit.
         ma——ƒŒga––i, clod of earth.
     am may be a corruption of in, genitive suffix, ƒm, the syncope of ƒgum.
     u˜˜aŒgai (the centre of the palm)=u˜+aŒgai (agaŒgai)

(9) Ordinal Suffixes

     ƒm, is the syncope of ƒgum, and ƒvadu, the future participial noun derived from the verb ƒ, to become.

(10) Single words expressing assent or approval

      e.g. ƒm (syncope of ƒgum), yes.
      sari(derived from sƒr, to resemble), right, alright.

(11) Expletives

     vandu, (p.p. of vƒ, to come), py (p.p. of p, to go), etc.

(12) Conjunctions

Cumulative Conjunctions:
     e.g. e‹Šu p.p.of the verb en; to say anything, ena (infinitive of the same verb as before), etc.

  e.g. alladu, the irrational singular participial noun derived from al, to be other thaŒ, illƒvi——ƒl (vi——ƒl, the subjunctive of vidu, to leave, suffixed to illƒ, non-existing), etc.

Illative Conjunctions:
     e.g. ƒgaiyƒl (the verbal noun ƒgai in the Instrumental case), enav (the weakened emphatic particle added to ena),etc.
