சிரியா மக்கள் வழிபட்ட அடாட் என்னும் சிவன் கடவுளின் திருவடிவம் ஒன்று அவ்விடத்திற் கண்டு பிடிக்கப்பட்ட வெண்கலத்தட்டு ஒன்றின் மீது பொறிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது அக்கடவுள் ஒரு கையிற் இரண்டு அலகுள்ள கோடரியையும் (மழு) மற்றக் கையில் கீழும் மேலும் முத் தலைகளுடைய வேலையும் பிடித்திருக்கின்றார். மேற்கு ஆசிய மக்கள்
முத்தலை வேல் அல்லது சூலத்தை இடியேறு என வழங்கினார்கள்.
