வீடு

  தமிழ்மக்கள் வீடு எனக்கொண்டது மெய்யுணர்வினாற் பற்றற்றுத் திருவருட் பண்புறுதலேயாகும். "பரனைநினைந் திம்மூன்றும் விட்டது பேரின்பவீடு" (ஒளவையார்). தொல்காப்பியத்திலும் வீடுபெறநிற்றல் துறவு எனக் கூறப்பட்டது. திருக்குறளில் நீத்தார்பெருமையும் இதனையே குறிக்கின்றது. சைவசமயத்தின் முடிவு, "அவனருளாலே அவன்றாள் வணங்கி" அவனை அடைதல்.
