மேற்கு ஆசியா நாடுகளிலும் கடவுளரின் தலையில் இரண்டு கொம்புகள் காணப்படுகின்றன. அரசரும் கொம்புகளை அணிந்தனர். கொம்புகள் மேலான அதிகாரத்தைக் குறிப்பனவென்றும் அவை ஞாயிற்றின் கதிர்களின் குறிகளென்றும் கருதப்படுகின்றன.
