தத்துவ சாத்திரிகள்

It is well known in many parts of India specially in its Southern peninsula. The Tamilian Maravar and Kallar employ it when hunting and throw it after deer. In the Madras Government Museum are shown three boomerangs two ivory ones which came from the armoury of the late Rajah of Tanjore, and a common one which came from Pudukota.
