a) The testing and certifying will be
done by the Certification Committee which includes the representative
on the Task Force Tamil Nadu Government,
b) The decision of the certifying committee
is final
c) Normally Certification process will
be completed within 2 weeks from the submission of application
duly completed in all respects alongwith the fee.
d) Application without the requiste
number of software copies or fees will not be accepted.
e) Software or fonts not passing the
testing may be resubmitted after rectification along with resubmission
fee of Rs.1000/- per software and Rs.250/- per font.
f) The Certificates will be issued for
the specific version of the Software/Fonts submitted to the committee.
Fresh certification is to be obtained for all new versions of
Software/Fonts, Testing under different OS version or application
package need to be submitted in different application form.
g) One copy of the Software/Fonts submitted
to the Committee will be reatined by Kanithamizh Sangam for reference.
h) Any false or misleading claim by
any manufacturer or vendor with respect to certification of any
particular product will be dealt with accordingly and the concerned
manufacture will be barred from applying for certification in
future and may face cancellation of their existing certificate.
i) The manufacturer should be prepared
to show a live demonstration of the product to the Committee
if requested at the office of the Kanithamizh Sangam.
