The study of culture is rendered complex by the fact that no culture has a well-defined simple boundary. Rather every culture has graded multiple boundaries, entitling each culture to a set of sub-cultures. National, regional and community linked boundaries are common and you may have sub-cultures of a culture on these lines. This section attempts to illustrate this point of complexity in the study of culture.
