Saivism is a term which includes all principles and practices concerning the worship of Siva. It is popular across the length and breadth of India. Traces of Siva worship have been found in the excavation of Mayan civilization in central Amercia. the remnants of temples in East Asian countries like Java and Bali and the excavations of Indus Valley civilization. It is supposed to be the most ancient living faith in the world.
