Among the male deities of the polytheist Hindu religion, Bharathi has sung about விநாயகர்,முருகன், கண்ணன், இராமன் and others. His விநாயகர் நான்மணிமாலை is a fairly long poem of 40 stanzas of four different prosodic forms. As with சக்தி, in விநாயகர்also Bharathi sees all forms of Hindu gods, and even gods of other faiths, like அல்லா and யெஹோவா In the poems on கண்ணன்and முருகன் devotion gets pleasantly mixed with imigination.
