    It is also known as news agency. Agency is where news is gathered from the government and private sectors.

    Banner:

    The headlines appearing on the front page of a newspaper.

    Censorship:

    News is censored by the government before publication.

    Cover Story:

    A detailed report on the front page story or picture.

    Editorial:

    The views of the editor on issues published in the newspaper.

    Illustration:

    Pictorial representation of the news published.

    Reporters:

    Persons who gather news. They gather news from various sources of the city.

    Examples of abbreviations are

    • ABC - Audit Bureau of Circulation
    • API - Associated Press of India
    • NBC - National Broadcasting Corporation
    • UNI - United News of India.
