Bharathidasan wanted the Tamil Community to preserve its self-respect. He expected the Tamils to see to it that neither their language nor their land is subjected to any disrespect. In his ideal Tamil Community, every individual should enjoy his / her rights. Everyone should be treated equally. Caste and religion will have no place in that community.
