புகழ்

இந்த உலகத்தில் அழியாமல் நிற்பது புகழாகும். ஈகை, கல்வி, வீரம் முதலிய காரணங்களால் புகழ் வரும். எனினும் ஈகையால் வரும் புகழே சிறந்ததாகக் கருதப் பெறுகிறது.

நடுவுநிலைமை

நமக்கு வேண்டியவர், வேண்டாதவர் என்று நினைக்காமல் பொதுவான நிலையில் நிற்றல்; நண்பர், பகைவர், அயலர் என்னும் மூவகையாரிடத்திலும் அறத்தில் தவறாது சமமாக நிற்கும் தன்மை நடுவுநிலைமை எனப் பெறுகிறது.

Fame

Fame lives forever. Fame comes with alms, education and courage. But the fame that comes of giving is considered the best.

Neutrality

To stand impartial without discriminating some as good for us and some as bad; to treat friends, foes and strangers alike and also equals can be called neutrality.
