அறிவு ஒரு கருவி ஆகும். இதனினும் சிறந்த காப்போ, கருவியோ எதுவுமில்லை. நன்மையிலும் உயர்ந்தோர் நட்பிலும், வருங்காலத்தை அறிவதிலும் துன்பம் வராமல் தடுப்பதிலும் கல்விபோன்ற சிறந்த ஒன்று உலகில் இல்லை.

Only the educated are humans. They alone are great. Education will accompany them in all their seven births. It is the greatest wealth.

Knowledge is a tool. There is no better guard or protection than this. In being good, in being friendly with the noble, in fore seeing the future and in preventing mystery, nothing is as good as education in this world.
